Society Meetings

Weather conditions forced the cancellation of January's meeting. However Chris & Dave Rendell have agreed to present their talk, "Rogie, the life and death of a rural community", at the meeting on Thursday 1st April. Linda & Graham Clark will save their talk "Murder Most Foul" for another time.
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 4th February at 7.30 pm in the Mission Hall, North Kessock when members are invited to spend "An Evening with ARCH". Cait McCullagh and Susan Kruse of Archaeology for Communities in the Highlands will present their current project, "The Black Isle Heritage Memories Project" and introduce their new information-sharing website. They will bring along some maps and photographs of the area but will welcome any material that members of the community wish to bring along and share.
"Remembering Your Community Sessions" have been taking place in Avoch, Culbokie and Tore where members of those communities have met over a 4 week period to share their memories or just to find out more about where they live. C Cumming, Secretary
