KILLEARNAN MEMORIES

Castles, Cairns and Crofts and much, much more.

The Society wishes to thank all those who helped to make Killearnan Memories Exhibition in Tore Hall  such a resounding success - those who took part in the Killearnan Memories Project over last winter and shared their knowledge  and stories of the area and lent photos and objects of interest for display, Mr Miller for his wonderful models of farming machines, the project team who put it all together and mounted the exhibition, the children and staff of Tore Primary School who produced some excellent written and art work, the ladies who served such delicious baking, those who donated raffle prizes and helped with the funding of the project and last but not least the hundreds of people who attended and showed such interest which made it all worthwhile and rewarding. It's not too late to submit any photos or information which can still be added to the archive now held on the area. This was the 5th Exhibition presented by the Society and as with all the previous events turned out to be not only an exhibition but also a social occasion.
